First flights and hops
Yes, our little baby house wrens have taken their first flights! One in particular is the 'runt' of the nest and he just hopped out of the planter (I had it on the ground) and then continued to hop down the stairs and then fly up on the hand rail. The others took off pretty quick and so I didn't get a picture of them. You can hear them however in the video.

How exciting to see the little guy's first try at flying. The kids must be excited. Glad I got to be a part of their hatching. Kind of sad to see them leave. But I bet mama bird returns. You have a nice set up there.
